YouTube raise the limit of the clips from 10 to 15 minutes

The guys from Google have decided to allow uploading videos on YouTube with a length of 15 minutes. From user point of view there is not a such big upgrade. However, Google has been asked for many years to increase the limit. In fact, at least theoretically, this means an increase in bandwidth by 50%.

Youtube raise the limit to 15 minutes for clips

Limit to 10 minutes was initially imposed because many users had the bad habit of saving the whole movie on YouTube. This approach created a legal problem and a conflict with copyright holders for YouTube. Once implemented the software identification and automatic removal of illegal content, the conditions became “milder.”

It is conceivable that, in not too distant future, to rise the new limit of 15 minutes. We all know that Google’s servers are “unlimited.”

Yes, this is a nice feature from Youtube. I have some videos with more than 10 minutes duration. But know I can posted them again. Just go into “My Videos” and delete those videos and then upload them again. :)
