Twitter is again the target of a phishing attack. The recipient receives a link with text “You’re on here” and a link that leads to a short Twitter phishing site, according to Mashable. Site “mhansenhome” shows a message saying “Someone posted on Their Blog About You. The page asks for login details Twitter.

Because the message has a link Twitter, many have fallen into trap. On Twitter account page “mhansenhome” the authors boast that over 1,000 accounts have been accessed, according techtree.com.
Last month, Twitter has been hit by a LOL phishing attack seeking to steal login details to the social network. As long as Direct Messages has been exploited for sending misleading links, the question arises about the safety of these social networks.
