IT & C is an area full of controversy. Nowadays companies or brands or technologies like Google, Microsoft,Nokia, browsers, games, social networks, are just some of the brands and technologies most often subject of controversy. These controversies may generate new ideas and concepts about the products.
One such controversy focuses on a simple question: laptop or desktop? Which is better, more profitable, more efficient and better for me?
This article is to highlight the strengths and disadvantages of each of the two types of computers. It might even help you make a decision.
Notebook :
Portability is an important aspect for those who can’t work without a computer and a Internet connection. If you have a laptop you can be sure that the documents and programs will be at your will everytime you need them. You don’t have to send files via e-mail to have a document both office and home. The laptop is that kind of product made for your own comfort.
Another important aspect of notebooks is the price and performance, actually is the main disadvantage of the laptops. At a big price you won’t get the performance to play a decent game, instead, you can get a much cheaper Desktop, and you can be sure that you can play a lot of games.
Desktop PC:
Not all the users needs to take a notebook with them at work. Not everyone has to go every weekend or holiday with the laptop to keep in contact with their colleagues from work. In conclusion there are a lot of people who can “live” without the notebook.
Performance is the main advantage of desktop, this advantage is basically related to price / performance. In terms of raw performance, the most powerful laptop does not approach a top desktops
Another advantage would be the ability to upgrade, we all know that on a laptop is really hard to change anything other than the RAM or HDD.
Price:
At this point we just can’t talk to much, because is obvious that is much more profitable to buy a Desktop PC.
Conclusion :
Before buying a computer, the user must decide what he expects from the product.With unlimited financial resources can buy both portability and top performance. Unfortunately, few have them. A careful analysis of the benefits listed above for laptops and desktops can help you make the right decision. Finally we can say without misconception that the main advantage of the laptop is portability. For a desktop PC, its main advantages are performance and price.

With the price of laptop being lower and lower, the price difference between laptop and desktop computer begin close enough. But I still agree that choosing notebook or desktop PC depends on each one.
