Voice Search with Google Maps in Google Chrome
Google Maps supports voice search for a long time now, but until now this service was only available to owners of mobiledevices based on Android or IOS, enabling the conduct of search without using the keyboard or screen, receiving verbal instructions for navigating through hands-free system. Although its usefulness is limited to PC, voice search function is now available for users of Google Chrome browser. Availabilityof the voice search function is announced by the presence of the microphone symbol on the right search box. Voice search function was promised to Windows platform users since June, with a similar operating principle as Google Goggles system, able to extract the terms used to search directly from the images provided.
